What it means
The tabernacle altar was a hollow wooden structure overlaid with bronze, with horns at its corners.
Priests offered burnt offerings and other sacrifices on it according to Israel’s ritual laws.
How it appears in the Bible
It stood in the court outside the tent and remained a central place of sacrifice in Israel’s sanctuary tradition.
