Bronze Altar
The large altar in the sanctuary court used for animal and other offerings.

What it means
Exodus 27 directs that the altar be made hollow from wooden boards and covered with bronze. It has horns at its four corners, a bronze grating, and poles for carrying it.
In the cattle burnt offering described in Leviticus 1, the person bringing the offering kills the animal, and the priests sprinkle its blood around the altar. A priest then burns the offering on the altar’s fire.
How it appears in the Bible
Second Chronicles 1 describes the bronze altar made by Bezalel standing before the tent of meeting. Solomon offers one thousand burnt offerings on it.
