A repeated Hebrew notation in Psalms and Habakkuk whose exact function is uncertain.

The World English Bible retains Selah in Psalm 3, Psalm 46, and Habakkuk 3. A musical function is possible, but a specific instruction to pause or meditate cannot be established with certainty.
